Terms of Service

AZURO is a technology platform that operates as a referral service, connecting vehicle owners with individuals seeking to rent vehicles. AZURO is not a car rental company and does not own, lease, or operate any vehicles. By accessing or using the AZURO platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

AZURO solely facilitates introductions between vehicle owners and prospective renters. All rental agreements, negotiations, and transactions are exclusively between the vehicle owner and the renter. AZURO is not a party to any rental transaction and does not act as an agent, broker, or intermediary beyond providing the initial connection. AZURO makes no representations or warranties regarding any vehicle, owner, or renter on the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AZURO disclaims all liability for: vehicle condition, safety, or roadworthiness; accidents, collisions, or traffic incidents; property damage or personal injuries; theft, vandalism, or loss of personal belongings; mechanical failures or breakdowns; insurance coverage or the lack thereof; disputes between vehicle owners and renters; financial losses arising from transactions facilitated through the platform; and any other claims, damages, or losses of any kind related to the use of vehicles listed on the platform. Users acknowledge that they use the platform and engage in vehicle rentals entirely at their own risk.

As a renter, you agree to: maintain a valid driver's license at all times during the rental period; carry your own automobile insurance coverage that extends to rental vehicles, or obtain separate rental coverage; thoroughly inspect the vehicle before accepting it and document any pre-existing damage; comply with all applicable traffic laws, parking regulations, and local ordinances; immediately report any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues to the vehicle owner; return the vehicle on time, in the same condition as received, with the agreed-upon fuel level; not use the vehicle for any illegal activity, racing, towing, or off-road driving unless expressly permitted; and not sublease or allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle.

As a vehicle owner, you agree to: maintain your vehicle in a safe, roadworthy condition with all necessary maintenance up to date; ensure your vehicle has valid registration and meets all applicable inspection requirements; maintain adequate automobile insurance coverage that permits peer-to-peer vehicle sharing; provide accurate and complete information in your vehicle listing, including any known defects or limitations; comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding vehicle sharing and rental; fulfill all tax obligations arising from income earned through the platform; and promptly address any safety recalls or mechanical issues.

AZURO does NOT provide any insurance coverage of any kind. Neither vehicle owners nor renters are covered by any AZURO insurance policy. Both parties are solely responsible for obtaining their own adequate insurance coverage. Renters should verify with their personal auto insurance provider whether their policy covers vehicles rented through peer-to-peer platforms, and if not, should obtain separate rental coverage before taking possession of any vehicle. Owners should verify that their insurance policy permits sharing or renting their vehicle to third parties. Failure to maintain proper insurance may result in personal financial liability in the event of an accident, damage, or loss.

AZURO charges a platform service fee of 10% on each completed transaction, which is deducted from the total rental amount. Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor and are held in escrow until the vehicle owner confirms the rental has been completed. Refund Policy: Full refunds are available for cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time. Cancellations made within 24-48 hours are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental start time are non-refundable. AZURO reserves the right to modify its fee structure with 30 days advance notice to users.

Any disputes arising from a vehicle rental transaction are strictly between the vehicle owner and the renter. AZURO is not responsible for mediating or resolving disputes between users. While AZURO may, at its sole discretion, facilitate communication between parties, it has no obligation to do so and bears no responsibility for the outcome of any dispute. By using the platform, you agree that any legal disputes with AZURO shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the State of Florida. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits against AZURO.

AZURO reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any user account at its sole discretion, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to: violation of these Terms of Service; fraudulent or deceptive conduct; receipt of multiple complaints from other users; failure to maintain required insurance or licensing; providing false or misleading information; engaging in unsafe or illegal activity; or any other behavior that AZURO deems detrimental to the platform or its community. Upon termination, any pending transactions may be cancelled and any outstanding balances will be handled in accordance with AZURO's payment policies.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
